Malatya Apricot: Top Wholesale Dried Apricots Exporter and Supplier
Turkey grows the world’s finest dried apricots. Malatya grows the best of Turkey. We ship them straight to your warehouse.
From orchard to container, our export team handles every step. No traders in between, no guesswork on quality, no delays on paperwork.
Dried Apricots from Malatya: Sourced Directly from Local Growers
Dried apricots from Malatya carry a flavor and texture that buyers in Europe, the Middle East, and beyond keep coming back for. We source directly from local growers, handle our own processing, and ship with full documentation. Every batch is sorted and lab-tested before it leaves our facility.
Grown by Farming Families with Generational Experience
The families growing these orchards have been doing it for generations. They know exactly when to pick and how to handle the fruit after harvest. That knowledge comes through in what lands in your warehouse.
Sorted and Graded to Your Specification
Every batch goes through both mechanical and hand sorting. Undersized, damaged, or off-color pieces get pulled out before packing. What you receive is consistent in size, color, and moisture, order after order.
Available in Multiple Grades and Formats
We carry whole conventional, diced, natural, organic, and industrial grades. We keep enough variety that food manufacturers and importers can get what they actually need, and our minimums don’t require you to be a massive trader to order.
Full Export Documentation with Every Shipment
Phytosanitary certificates, health certificates, lab reports, certificates of origin, all of it is prepared per shipment. Customs clearance shouldn’t be your headache, and with us, it rarely is.
Sun Dried Apricots: No Preservatives, No Additives, Just Natural Fruit
Our sun dried apricots from eastern Turkey go through zero chemical treatment. The fruit gets laid out on open drying beds and left under the dry summer sun for several days. That’s the whole process. What you end up with is a dark, dense, intensely flavored apricot, exactly what organic and clean label buyers have been looking for.
Natural Dark Color Confirms No Additives Were Used
Sun dried apricots turn deep brown because the fruit oxidizes on the drying bed. That color tells you no sulfur dioxide was used. For health food and organic product lines, that’s not a detail, it’s a requirement.
Richer Flavor That Standard Processing Cannot Match
Slow drying under natural heat concentrates the sugars over days, not hours. The flavor that results is deeper and richer, it holds up through baking, cooking, and snacking in a way that sulfured apricots simply don’t match.
A Clean Fit for Organic and Health Food Ranges
No chemical treatment means these apricots fit organic SKUs and clean label products without extra certification work on your end. The ingredient does what it’s supposed to do on paper and on the shelf.
Packaging Formats on Request
We pack in bulk sacks, cartons, and custom retail formats. Moisture levels and size grades can be adjusted to your spec before packing starts, just tell us what you need.
Turkish Dried Apricots: Why Global Buyers Consistently Choose Turkish Origin
Turkey is the world’s biggest producer of dried apricots, and there’s a practical reason global buyers specify Turkish origin: the fruit performs consistently, crop after crop. As a Turkish dried apricots exporter based in Malatya, we work directly with local farms rather than buying on the open market. That means we actually know what’s happening with each season’s crop, and our pricing reflects real production costs, not trader markups.
Sulfured and Unsulfured Options Available
Standard sulfured apricots for retail and food service, plus sulfur-free options for natural product lines. Full documentation available for both.
Size Grades Matched to Your Production Requirements
Count per kilogram, visual appearance, size uniformity, we sort to your retail or manufacturing spec before packing. Tell us what you need and we’ll match it.
Correct Export Documents for Every Destination
Our export team knows the import requirements for the EU, UK, US, Gulf States, and Southeast Asian markets. Shipments leave with everything your customs team needs.
Sourced Directly, Without Intermediaries
We’re physically in the production zone. No intermediary margins, no secondhand information about crop quality. You talk to people who are standing next to the orchards.

Why Buyers Choose Malatya Apricot
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
What types of dried apricots do you supply?
We stock conventional sulfured apricots, natural sun-dried apricots, diced apricots, organic apricots, industrial-grade apricots, and apricot kernels. For buyers sourcing across more than one category, we also carry dried figs, prunes, raisins, dates, almonds, and a selection of frozen and freeze-dried produce.
What is the difference between sulfured and sun-dried apricots?
Sulfured apricots are treated with sulfur dioxide during processing. That treatment keeps the color bright orange and adds to shelf life. Sun-dried apricots go through none of that. They come out darker because the fruit oxidizes naturally on the drying bed, and the taste is more concentrated because the sugars are not diluted by any added moisture or treatment. Buyers putting together clean label or preservative-free products go for sun-dried for exactly that reason.
Does Malatya Apricot hold organic certification?
Yes. Our organic apricots are certified to EU organic and USDA NOP standards. The organic lines run on separate equipment and are kept away from conventionally processed product throughout. Certification paperwork from our third-party certifying body is available and sent to buyers when requested.
Which countries do you export to?
We ship to the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Gulf Cooperation Council markets, Southeast Asia, and places across sub-Saharan Africa. Each destination, has its own import paperwork needs and labeling guidelines. Our export squad handles all of it, for every single shipment, start to finish.
How do you verify product quality before shipment?
Batches are sorted by hand and machine for size, color, and foreign matter. Samples then go to an external accredited laboratory for testing on pesticide residues, sulfur dioxide levels where applicable, microbiological counts, and heavy metals. Reports go to the buyer before the shipment is loaded. Buyers who want their own inspector on site before loading can arrange that and we work around it without issue.
Is product traceability available?
Yes. Every batch that ships from our facility has sourcing records behind it covering the farms and cooperatives the fruit came from. Buyers whose retail customers or compliance teams ask for that documentation can request it at any stage of the order.
No chemical treatment means these apricots fit organic SKUs and clean label products without extra certification work on your end. The ingredient does what it’s supposed to do on paper and on the shelf.
